About Health Actuary Search, Inc.

Leslie Macomber is President of Health Actuary Search, Inc. She holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BA from the University of Chicago. 

Leslie began her professional career by earning the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation while working as a Registered Representative with The Equitable in San Francisco in the early 1990’s. During this period, Leslie was licensed and trained to sell health, life, disability, annuities and mutual funds and she became Series 7 qualified. She went on to be an investment representative with Wells Fargo and later, represented long term care products with GE Capital.

Leslie began her actuarial recruiting career in 2001 at Sunday & Associates, a recruiting firm located in Petaluma, California. She started Health Actuary Search in 2003.  She is presently located in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho.
